Wedding Day Hair: 5 Things to Know

Maya's Wedding-Mark Turner for Salon True

Choosing the right person to do you hair on your wedding day is monumental. It is important that you choose someone you can talk to and feel comfortable with.  This may or may not be the person you normally use to cut your hair.  Every stylist has an expertise so if you do not like how your stylist blow dries your hair and you are not comfortable letting him/her know this than chances are you are not going to love what they may do for your wedding day.

Choose someone who has experience doing hair for photo shoots, TV, film or theater.  They understand what is necessary for those glamorous photos that will showcase your beauty.

When you go for your pre-wedding consultation bring with you a picture of both the front and back of your wedding dress.

Make sure to have with you the jewelry you intend to wear to your wedding.

If your wedding dress is sleeveless try to come dressed in a sleeveless top so you can get a better idea of how you may look on your day.

If you want an up do it is important for the hairstylist to know how tall your fiancee is in addition to the height of your wedding day shoe: so if you own them already bring them with you to your styling session.
