Makeup is probably the most important wedding day accessory. Done correctly it will compliment your features and allow them to be more prominent in your
photos and film. However, when
choosing your makeup artist make sure that they get who you are and can
highlight your features and have you looking like yourself instead of applying layers of cakey makeup so that in
the end you don’t really recognize yourself.
If makeup is not your thing and you do not wear it daily let
them know. Clear communication is
the key. If you think you want smokey eyes then try it prior to your wedding
day. With the clock ticking the
last thing you will want to do is wash your face and start over.
On your wedding day have your photographer present when you
are having your makeup applied. Through
his digital lens you will be able to see yourself instantly and know if your
makeup has been blended well.
Remember, high resolution cameras are going to pick up and highlight
every imperfection-
When you do your trial run prior to your wedding day bring a
picture of your dress, bouquet and hair accessories.
Unless your makeup artist is your best friend or an invited
guest purchase the lipstick you decide to use on your wedding day. You will need it throughout the day for
touch ups.
Make up is here to enhance your beauty not hide it. It is
your wedding be comfortable with how you look so you can relax and enjoy your
special day.
